summer awareness campaign (2023)

  • SOUNDBOKS’ roots are on the festival ground. That’s were we truly needed to go. With the core markets being Germany, the Netherlands and Norway, we set out to draft an international awareness masterpiece and created the ultimate festival experience: SOUND:KAMP

  • Starting with a far-reaching social campaign focussed on TikTok in combination with numerous influencer cooperations and PR measures, we gathered UGC from applicants for the SOUND:KAMP at MS Dockville or the SMS-Festival. The festival package included a shuttle to the festival (and back), highly comfortable tents with power supply, own showers and toilets, a private bar and own surprise gigs from renowned artists such as Malugi, Agy3na and Cromby, fully powered by SOUNDBOKS speakers.

  • With a combined reach of over 15M, we brought SOUNDBOKS were it belongs. On the camping grounds of the world. The combination of a plattform-native TikTok campaign, truly breathtaking happenings and content on the ground and widespread PR Coverage in outlets such as Groove Mag or Resident Advisor, we were able to stir up the summer’s hot topic: SOUNDBOKS.

The campaign was supported by a highly efficient media mix, focusing on TikTok and Instagram. We got the word out through social media creators, ran exciting SOUNDBOKS raffles, had featured articles in popular electronic music scene magazines, and shared all the info on the SOUND:KAMP landingpage. Plus, we hit the streets with wild posters and ads to spread the word even further.

PRESS PARTNERS

SOUND:KAMP invited crews to apply by submitting introduction videos for their chosen festival, emphasizing user-generated content. Selection was based on likes and interactions, ensuring the most popular crews secured their spots. Once selected, crews enjoyed a premium experience, including a Mercedes V-Class Shuttle Service, a spacious campsite with amenities, and their own SOUNDBOKS stage with a DJ setup. Participants received free beverages and enjoyed a lineup with secret acts and renowned artists like Agy3na, Bruna, Malugi, Najeh, and Cromby. Agy3na praised the vibe, expressing a desire to play for another 6 hours.
